Welcome! We’re the owners and operators of The Knox!
Some fun facts about us:
We’re kicking off wedding season by welcoming a baby girl and becoming a family of four in May 2023!
We got married in New Orleans
So far, together we’ve travelled to Mexico, Colombia, Kenya and bopped all around Canada and the US
We’re big fans of a Sazerac and French 75 cocktail
Michelle spent two years planning, coordinating and designing weddings in Toronto through her company Crimson & Clover Events
The venue has truly been a labour of love for us and we look forward to sharing this beautiful space with you!

Here are some fun facts about me:
Fall is my favourite oh, & prosecco
I am getting married to my soulmate this May, a small intimate
celebration here at the Knox, followed by a small destination wedding
on Lake Garda in ItalyI loveeee to travel
I am a local here in Merrickville, we built our dream home and have
been living in it just over a year nowWe have two sweet feline fur babies: Jake & Charles, named after
our favourite sitcom Brooklynn Nine-Nine

Hey I’m Sydney, one of the Manager’s of Client Experience here at The Knox!
Here are some fun facts about me:
Prior to The Knox I worked in the bridal industry for many years and had the pleasure of helping hundreds of brides find their dream dress!
My favourite genre of music is definitely rap but I also collect vinyl so I have a soft spot for the oldies
I was a competitive horseback rider growing up
My favourite food is a toss up between pho or tacos!
I’m a self proclaimed sneakerhead and just love fashion in general
When I’m not busy working you can find me heading to a spin class, grabbing dinner with friends, taking care of my plants, or hunting for my next wardrobe staple at the thrift store!

Hey I’m Danielle, a Venue Coordinator at The Knox!
Here are some fun facts about me:
I owned The Yellow Canoe Cafe in Merrickville for several years!
We had our son Cohen in 2021 and welcomed Jack in 2022
I’ve lived in Merrickville for 10 years and we built our home here in 2022
I enjoy cooking and baking and recipe testing
I have two very silly Old English Sheepdogs
I love wine-red, white, Prosecco, all of it!
I’m thrilled to be joining the wedding industry!
